On 14th October a conference took place at the Technopol building in Bratislava called Soft-tronik Solutions Forum, which focused on virtualisation and security IT solutions. The company TEMPEST was the platinum partner of the event and presented ways of backing up virtualised environments and experiences in this area. We presented the functionalities of the product Symantec NetBackup Enterprise Server, ways of backing up and restoring the VMware environment and the use of the properties of NetBackup enterprise with VMware consolidated backup.

The slogan "The conference that brings technology together and offers solutions" attracted almost 200 participants, including IT managers, IT department heads, product managers and project managers of leading companies and public administration organisations. Conference attendees had the chance to hear lectures on VDI, virtualisation of storage, archiving and backing up virtual infrastructures, which included also real case studies. In another section of the event there were presentations on the theme of increasing the performance of applications and information security. Demonstrations of the presented solutions were available to participants at the intermissions.
