Tempest improves Magio digital television

Slovak Telekom has selected the supplier to modernise the core of its Magio digital television service, which it sells under the T-Com brand. Tempest, which won the tender, will provide programming services and its software division’s know-how to the multimedia operator. Tempest’s task is to integrate and modernise the core of the system onto an agreed-upon technology platform and create a framework for the further expansion of internet, mobile and IPTV digital television applications. Slovak Telekom customers will see benefits primarily in the form of simplified management of the system and new interactive services, which will substantially increase the convenience and capability of Magio digital television.
